At 11, Daniella auditioned and was accepted into the full time program of ‘Sylvia Young Theatre School’. From there she performed as an actress in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and The National Theatre. After Graduation, she continued studying acting in Paris with renowned acting teacher Jack Waltzer. Whilst continuing to study, Daniella began to travel in search for a Theatre to build her own company in, visiting countries such as Egypt, South America, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, before finally settling in New York City, which she can now call home.
In 2012, Daniella landed her first lead film role in the film entitled ‘Adeline’ which received rave reviews and screened in Tribeca Cinemas as an Official Selection of the 9th Annual Big Apple Film Festival and also Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner – 2013.
In 2013, Alma perfomed the lead role as Kora in a film entitled ‘A Peace Of Autumn’ written & directed by Joseph Arnone, co-starring with Jon Freda who also works alongside Robert De Niro and Tommy Lee Jones in the upcoming film ‘The Family’.
Currently, Daniella Alma is going into production of her fourth film called ‘Parallel’ Directed & Produced by Joseph Arnone. In this film, Alma takes on the role of the female protagonist, a dancer who is battling against a second life.
