At 11, Daniella auditioned and was accepted into the full time program of ‘Sylvia Young Theatre School’. From there she performed as an actress in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and The National Theatre. After Graduation, she continued studying acting in Paris with renowned acting teachers Jack Garfein, Jack Waltzer and Johnny Strasberg, before finally settling in New York City, which she can now call home.
In 2012, Daniella landed her first lead film role in the film entitled ‘Adeline’ which received rave reviews and screened in Tribeca Cinemas as an Official Selection of the 9th Annual Big Apple Film Festival and also Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner – 2013.
In 2013, Alma perfomed the lead role as Kora in a film entitled ‘A Peace Of Autumn’ written & directed by Joseph Arnone. ‘A Peace of Autumn’ screened in 2014 at the 67th Annual Cannes Court Métrage.
In fall of 2014, Daniella Alma will be going into production of her fourth film called ‘Parallel’. In this film, Alma will take on the role of the female protagonist, a mysterious dancer who is led through a process of self-discovery.
