Fingers stretched, back arched

A picture of a drowning fish

And there you, in bold-est armor

Eyes as thick as the bronze

Eyes perfect’ly sculptured

Haven’t we learnt?

We have learnt so well-

That in the midst of it all

We are almost lost.
